全速率和半速率的 TCH

Full-Rate TCH :

• TCH/FS (Traffic CHannel/Full-rate Speech) :

transmission of speech, the net speech rate is 13 kbps.

• TCH/F9.6/4.8/2.4 :

transmission of data rate 9.6/4.8/2.4 kbps, the data is fax data or computer data

Half-Rate TCH : (Phase 2)

• TCH/HS (Traffic CHannel/Half-rate Speech) :

transmission of speech, the idea is to double the capacity of system by compressing

the data by 2(half the current data rate), the doubling of speech capacity will be

achieved with no degradation of speech quality.

• TCH/H4.8/2.4 :

transmission of data on a half-rate channel
